Topic: Trends in the Express and Logistics Industry in the AI Era and Career Opportunities in Key Account Marketing
Speaker:
Jing Shen, alumna from the Class of 2000 in International Economics and Trade, Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Department, China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd.
Abstract:
Drawing on both AI-driven technological transformation and industry practice, the speaker will discuss how the underlying logic of key account marketing in the express and logistics industry is being reshaped. Against the backdrop of the sector’s transition from “labor-intensive logistics” to “smart logistics,” she will explore how students and young professionals can align national strategic needs with their own strengths to seize emerging career opportunities.
The lecture will also provide a systematic overview of the current development and competitive landscape of the express and logistics industry as a strategic foundational sector. It will further examine how, with the support of AI technologies, the industry is evolving from “passive response” to “proactive prediction,” and from “logistics fulfillment” to “empowering production decision-making,” while also highlighting related career development prospects.
Faculty and students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and alumni, are warmly welcome to attend. We also sincerely welcome your suggestions and feedback on the event.
